I wasn’t aware of the online petiton to clarify the law on photography in public places, but apparently it attracted over 5,500 signatures. And earlier today Downing Street confirmed that “There are no legal restrictions on photography in public places” but went on to say, usurprisingly, that “the law applies to photographers as it does to anybody else in a public place”…
Let me start by wishing everyone a very happy 2009! It’s been a busy couple of weeks for me – as I’m sure it has been for most of you – but I managed to finish my (short) holiday on a high by taking a quick outing to Glencoe. It wasn’t really a photo trip (although I did take most of my gear with me) and I wasn’t expecting much from the few shots I took as the weather was fairly unexciting and overcast. So I was pleasantly surprised when I got home and reviewed my images on my computer screen…
